Hycroft Lodge stands proud just off the main Vumba road, so has easy access and no driveway to negotiate. It is a double story building which houses the Hivu Nursery office, tuck shop, Hivu Bistro kitchen and the Friends of the Vumba office.
Entrance is through private courtyard to the kitchen / dining / lounge area.Downstairs has 1 x double bedroom & 1 x twin bedroom with a shared bathroom and another double bedroom en suite.
Upstairs has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and across the passage a single bedroom with a share bathroom with a shower. There is a fireplace in the dining room and fully equipped kitchen and a back up gas geyser for hot water.
There are solar panels and a solar geyser and Wifi is available.
All activities offered at the Adventure Park are free to all our cottage customers. Horse riding is an additional fee.

PRICING
- The is US$30 per person per night except High Season.
- High Season from 15 December to 5 January – rate US$35 per person.
- Children under 12 are half price
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Our location is: 27km Peg, Main Road, Vumba, Zimbabwe. Follow Google Maps to Hivu Nursery and Camping.
- The cottage keys must be collected from our Hivu Nursery offices before 5pm, situated on the main road at the 27km peg on the Main Vumba road
- Keys are available at Hivu Offices upon completion of registration, payment of any outstanding fees and payment of deposit – min Us$20 or 10% of booking.
- Deposit returned upon satisfaction from our staff that there are no breakages, extra guests, and the cottage has been left in a tidy and respectable state.
